How do I rent a unit?
Everything is 100% online — no phone calls or office visits needed. Just go to storagehaven.net, choose your location, pick your unit size, sign your lease digitally, and set up AutoPay. You’ll be ready to go same day.
What sizes are available?
We offer a range of unit sizes across all three locations. Visit storagehaven.net and select your location to see current availability and pricing.
Do I need to come in person to sign up?
Nope! The entire process — application, lease signing, and payment setup — is handled securely online through our website.
Is there a minimum rental period?
We rent month-to-month. No long-term contracts required.
How do I rent a second unit?
Just log in to your account at storagehaven.net and add a new unit from your dashboard. It’s quick and easy!  RENT NOW

Pricing & Payments

How much does a unit cost?
Pricing varies by location and unit size. Visit storagehaven.net and select your location to see current rates and availability.
When is rent due?
Rent is due on the 1st of each month and is considered late after the 5th.
How do I pay my bill?
You can pay online 24/7 at storagehaven.net using ACH bank transfer or credit/debit card. We strongly encourage AutoPay so you never miss a payment.
Is there a late fee?
Late fees are clearly outlined in your lease agreement before you sign. We’re always upfront about this. The easiest way to avoid them is to sign up for AutoPay!
Do you require a deposit?
Please check your specific unit listing at storagehaven.net for current deposit requirements.

Access & Security

What are the access hours?
Storage Haven offers 24/7 access at all locations.
How secure are your facilities?
  • Shreveport & Dubberly: Cameras, LED lighting, gated and fenced with coded auto gates
  • Plain Dealing: Cameras, lighting, open drive-up facility — no gate or fence. We’re hands-on owners and stay very active with the property.
Do you offer climate-controlled storage?
We don’t currently offer climate-controlled units. If that’s what you need, we’re happy to point you toward a facility that does.

Moving In & Out

When can I move in?
As soon as your rental is confirmed online, you’re good to go — 24/7 access from day one.  Gate code and unit number will be provided as soon as you sign up.
Is there a move-in proration?
Yes! If you move in mid-month, your first payment will be prorated so you only pay for the days you actually use.
How do I move out?
Give us a 10-day notice by text, empty your unit completely, and send a photo of the cleaned unit. We’ll take care of the rest and move you out in the system. Please note there is no proration on move-out — rent is due in full for the final month.

Policies & Rules

Do I need insurance?
Yes. Tenants are required to have either tenant protection (available through us) or proof of existing homeowners/renters insurance that covers stored belongings. Storage Haven’s own insurance does not cover tenants’ items.
What can I store?
Standard household goods, business inventory, documents, and more. Hazardous materials, flammable items, and anything illegal are strictly prohibited.
Can I store a vehicle, boat, or RV?  
We offer outdoor, non-climate-controlled vehicle storage at select locations. Visit storagehaven.net to check current availability. Vehicles/Boats must be 5 years old or newer and road worthy with valid registration/tags, and insurance.

Storage Haven is veteran-owned and family-operated. Jessie and April have been running the business since 2021 across three Louisiana locations: Shreveport, Dubberly, and Plain Dealing. We also have a self Serve Carwash in Plain Dealing.
